Thursday was the birthday of the ebullient governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, and for the number one man of the Eastern Heartland it was torrents of birthday wishes and accolades.

As sweet as many of the wishes were, the one that really caught the eye of Potpourri is the one by the governor’s former Principal Protocol Officer, in the person of the ravishing beauty, Shirley Igwe.

“Happy birthday to one of the few special men in my life, my mentor and my boss. The special role you played when I lost my father I will never forget. God bless, Your Excellency, Executive Governor of Imo State. This is wishing you  good health and long life. You are indeed a father of many. #birthdaywishes #goodman #daddy #fathertomany #Honours #appreciation,” the beautiful actress gushed on her social media page.

It will be recalled that the circumstances that led to the actress being relieved of her post as the Principal Protocol Officer to the governor are still being shrouded in secrecy but from the tone of her birthday wishes to the governor, it is clear she still holds him in high esteem.
