National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Registration Requirements for Home and Foreign-Trained Graduates' Online Mobilization. The management of the National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform all prospective corps members, who have graduated from Universities and Mono/ Polytechnics both at home and abroad, that the online registration portal will be opened from 17th October to 12th November to enable them register for the 2016 Batch 'B' mobilization. Prospective corps members should ensure that they have a valid and functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register. NYSC Abolish Concessional Posting For Corps Members

The Director General of the  National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) , Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumi has said that there would no longer be concessional posting for all corps members. Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Monday, the DG said that Nigeria belonged to everybody and therefore every corps member would henceforth carry out his/her one year mandatory service in any state they are posted. According to him, the move will help the federal government to maintain the main objective of creating the scheme.
